Maida is the daughter of Chronos. Chronos, the god of time is usually portrayed with white hair and white beard. Chronos is a character in Hesiod's myth and the Orphic cosmogony. He débuts, with his mention in around 700 B.C. and usually ends at around the 9th Century.
In Greek mythology, Maida, with her elegant halo of silver hair, would have been known as the goddess Alphito, the symbol of flour and lady guardian of the mill.
